Here is the pinout for GRBL Mega 6 Axis which is used with all GRBLDuino Mega products supporting more than 3 axes.

ah dang. Did your fork of grbl-mega-4axis just come into existence? I used the mainline grbl-mega-4axis. Did you do any customization? Really i just want to know if it's worth the effort of prying the shield off to upload the other version.

You should be fine with that one. I mostly have it as a mirror and I enabled the additional axes by default. The main doesn't have them turned on so you would have to edit the file, recompile, and upload it to get the additional capability.

Looking at the pinout shown in the image, is it safe to assume that these pins are totally free for other uses?
A0-A7

14-21
A12-A14
22, 23
36-50

If so, those unused pins are NOT broken out on the GRBLDuino Mega v1, right?

Tnx!

Correct, all unmarked pins are available for other uses. Due to space constraints, the unused pins are not broken out but the solder points are available on the top side of the board so attachment wouldn't be too difficult.

Ok, thanks!

BTW, you might want to swing by my shop some time - I'm in Graham, just up I-5 from you. :) I'm working on some CNC projects you might be interested in.

tnx.

Shoot me a message with some details and I'll see what I can do. Might be a few weeks though.

No worries. I'll ping you when I've got more done. I'm headed to MRRF (Midwest RepRap Festival) this week, so I won't get much done till next month. :)

The link posted goes to a github 4-axis version. Is there a seperate url for the 6-axis?
